Cartoons, comics, G.I.Joe action figure (Action Man for us brits) and now live action, What more could you ask for ?
Non stop action and excitement, once again people seem to be expecting Hamlet.
The plot is nothing new but the cgi is amazing, make sure to watch the extras.
It's a good, entertaining film. Just sit back and enjoy it for what it is.
It's fun.

I've read a lot of bad reviews about this film which i don't think are justified.
Seems to me people are buying films like this expecting to see something deep and meaningful.
It's a sci fi action bullet fest for gods sake. And as such, does a good job.
It's well acted, well filmed and the action is thick and fast, i buy films to be entertained and this does just that.
I've watched the dvd and blu ray and i have to say the blu ray looks a lot better and at under a tenner is well worth it.
Men will like it, women will like gerard butler, so it's a win win situation.
Buy it.
P.S. watch out for the song and dance routine from "Dexter".

Lego Indiana Jones 2 puts all four Indy films together, when you enter a toy box you enter the environment of that film and you have to find your next level, when you play a level you get to be a two-man team but the characters are chosen depending on the film but you will always have Indy on your side.

When you play a treasure level you play as whoever you are playing as in the hub, so this could be mola ram and short round. In this game you can also create your own levels with anything you want and if you find all the treasure boxes in a playset you can play a bonus level to get one million studs, and the good thing is you get to keep them!

In multiplayer this lego game has a new feature, you can do split-screen, if you go too far from each other a line appears in the middle of the screen! This game has lifelike buildings and you now have phobias and new abilities, you can also use the crystal skull as a weapon or play as the crystal interdimentional being itself.
It is a fun family game to play for all lego and Indiana Jones fans.

I'm a lover of the "tongue in cheek" type movies so this is right up my street.
This is unusual to say the least, seems to be a parody of the worldwide immigration problem.
It really doesn't take itself too seriously.
Definately worth a watch. I saw the dvd version but i have no doubt the blu ray would be money well spent.

The darkness is a first person shooter based in the 21st century. You play as Jackie Estacado, a mafia hitman who becomes possessed by the darkness on his 21st birthday. It all starts when you and your mafia buddies are in a cop chase, one of them gets shot and you boot him out of the door and climb into his seat and there the story begins.

I loved this game and thought it was a great 1st person shooter, the graphics are good and it provides several days of gameplay.

Crysis has been one of the most watched and most talked about games for the last few years. It promised to be the best looking game ever made, and it promised to deliver a deeper, richer and more engrossing first person shooter experience than its pseudo-predecessor FarCry. And it managed both.

It's probably impossible to review Crysis without spending great lengths talking about how good the game looks. So I'm going to get it out of the way first. Crysis looks amazing. If you have something like an 8800gts and a couple gigs of ram and a dual core CPU, you can probably play it with everything on high at a good resolution. And in this state, it looks utterly beautiful. The sunsets are breathtaking, the island foliage is gorgeous, the character models are astounding and you will feel like you're experiencing something very special when you play this game.

Right, that's the visuals done and out of the way. So what about the story? You play as a USA supersoldier type (with a fancy high tech suit called a nanosuit), you're part of a team sent to explore why an American team of archaeologists was taking captive by North Koreans just as they were making an important discovery. Things just get better and better from there. Need an example? GIANT ROBOT ALIENS! It's no more of an interesting story than you'll find in your typical FPS game, but it's a pretty solid plot by FPS standards. The game also looks utterly gorgeous, by the way.
