Liam Neelson plays Bryan an ex CIA agent and over protective father in this fairly fast paced thriller.When Kim his 17 year old daughter played by Maggie Grace asks her dad for permission to go to Paris with her friend Amanda at first her dad is reluctant but with a bit of persuading he eventually gives in and the two girls arrive in paris.It isn't long before Bryan gets a phone call from his frantic daughter who is witnessing the abduction of her friend, Within minutes Kim is also abducted. Bryan springs into action using his CIA skills and goes on the hunt for the people who have taken his daughter and her friend, determined that they will pay. To be honest i found some parts of this film rather corny, especially the part when Neelson is on the phone with one of the abductors and i was expecting it to go downhill fast but i was pleasantly surprised to see the film quickly improve and keep me hooked. Well worth a watch! |
